By downloading, installing, or using Bloat Scan ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Bloat Scan is a mobile application that allows users to photograph food items and receive analysis regarding potential bloating effects, chemical additives, microplastics, and other components. The app provides informational content based on AI-powered analysis.

Not Medical Advice

Bloat Scan does not provide medical advice. The information provided by the app is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, food allergies, intolerances, or dietary concerns.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or seen in this app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date food analysis, we cannot guarantee that the information provided is complete, correct, or current. Food composition can vary by brand, region, preparation method, and other factors. AI-based analysis has inherent limitations and may occasionally produce inaccurate results.

You acknowledge that you use the information provided by Bloat Scan at your own risk.

Subscriptions and Payments

Bloat Scan offers a free tier with a limited number of scans and a paid subscription ("Bloat Scan Pro") for unlimited access.

• Free tier: You may perform a limited number of food scans at no cost.
• Bloat Scan Pro: Available as a monthly or annual subscription. Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the app
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app's content or analysis

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Bloat Scan — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the property of Wistom and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wistom and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or profits
• Personal injury or health issues arising from reliance on the app's analysis
• Errors or inaccuracies in the food analysis
• Interruption or unavailability of the service

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wistom, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.
